Youth Work Manager
I’m Paula and I am the manager at the project. I have worked for Westgate Youth Project since 2012 and became the manager in 2013. I have worked with young people for more years than someone of my age can remember!!!
I manage the team of paid and voluntary youth workers that you can read about below – they are a great bunch of people. We are all dedicated to supporting teenagers in their personal development, it’s about creating professional relationships and getting any young person what they need to achieve. The best bit about my job, when you get rid of the boring paperwork is spending time with some seriously great teenagers and having fun with them while they grow as people. I hope to meet you soon 🙂
Please scroll through our youth workers and find a out a little more about them!!
Jordan joined the project as a young person back in 2012. He became a volunteer youth worker in 2013 so that he could gain experience to follow his dream and become a leader at Camp America. Jordan spent the Summer of 2017 living his dream and gained valuable youth work experience. Jordan is the sports worker for the project and leads activities such as football, table tennis and fitness.
